Mastercard - Goodwood Festival of Speed

2026
Since 2024, Rule One has built Mastercard's guest house at the Goodwood Festival of Speed for the agency Octagon.
For 2024, Mastercard's first exclusive hosting space at the Festival, we clad the interior in black-painted timber, furnished the lounge, meeting and dining areas, and turned the courtyard into an English country garden with branded archway entrances, planters and trellis.
In 2025 we extended the deck and added a 4m CNC-cut outdoor bar in white and red cedar, with grooved wall panels around the racing simulators. In 2026 the scenery came back out of storage, with the simulator walls taken up to the ceiling, a 3.5m McLaren slot-racing plinth and full-colour driver vinyls on the windows.
Each year's build is designed to be reused, with key pieces stored between festivals.
Client: Mastercard, with Octagon · Location: Goodwood Festival of Speed, West Sussex · Scope: Set build, CNC, garden build, set dressing, installation, storage
