To introduce the Eris sneaker, Axel Arigato wanted its windows to stop people in the street.
Rule One built oversized, flowing sculptural forms wrapped in soft yellow yarn, the same tone as the shoe, rising floor to ceiling behind the glass with 'Introducing Eris' across the window. Inside, a freestanding version stands among the rails, with matching yellow display blocks on the stone tables.
Up close the yarn texture does the work, making the pieces feel soft and tactile from the pavement.
