Axel Arigato - Eris

Bespoke prop making and scenic fabrication, London

Rule One makes bespoke props, sculptural pieces and scenic elements in its East London workshop, for windows, sets, events and brand activations. CNC routing comes from our sister workshop, Rule One CNC, and our scenic artists finish and dress the pieces.

Recent pieces include the yarn-wrapped sculptural forms for Axel Arigato's Eris launch, oversized planted letters for Netflix in Cannes, a working sushi-style conveyor for KIKO Milano, and props and dressing for Fenwick's Christmas windows and The Balvenie's 60th anniversary.

  2. Make

CNC, fabrication, scenic art and finishing in our East London workshop.

  3. Deliver

Packed, transported through our sister company Super Logistics, and installed by our crew.

Questions we're asked

Can you make a single prop, or only whole sets?

Both. We make individual hero pieces as well as complete sets, windows and installations.

Do you have CNC in-house?

Yes. CNC routing and cutting are handled by our sister workshop, Rule One CNC, which also takes trade cutting jobs at ruleonecnc.com.

Can props be built to travel?

Yes. Netflix's letters were designed for transport and assembly on site in Cannes, then planted and dressed there.

What affects the cost?

Mainly size and quantity, materials and finish, any movement or lighting, install conditions (overnight in a trading store costs more than a daytime install in an empty space), how much design work is needed, and transport, storage and de-rig. Send a budget range with your brief and we'll tell you what it buys and where the money is best spent.
